Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Indian woman pacer Jhulan Goswami has been appointed as an honorary member of the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). The decision was made after a meeting at Lord’s on Monday, where it was decided to include this legendary figure of women’s cricket.

Not only Jhulan but also England women’s team captain Heather Knight and World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan have been given a place on this committee.

The International Cricket Committee is an independent organization that includes several former and current international cricketers, umpires, and officials from around the world.

Last year, former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami retired from international cricket, playing her last match against England at Lord’s. Over the course of two decades, she has dazzled opponents with her pace. Jhulan has taken more than 300 wickets in over 272 matches in white-ball cricket. On the other hand, she has taken 44 wickets in 12 Test matches.
