ISL 2021-22: SC East Bengal & Robbie Fowler part ways with immediate effect; Manuel Diaz appointed Head Coach for new season
Xtra Time Web Desk: SC East Bengal on Wednesday confirmed that Coach Robbie Fowler has parted ways with the club after both parties decided to mutually terminate their contract. The Kolkata based club has appointed former Real Madrid Castilla coach Manuel ‘Manolo’ Diaz as the new head coach for the Hero Indian Super League 2021-22 season.
Former Liverpool and England player Robbie Fowler took over the role as SC East Bengal Head Coach in a very challenging period of transition last season and managed to overcome significant odds to bring the fans some moments of joy in the club’s first ever season in the Hero Indian Super League.
