Xtra Time Web Desk: In the upcoming match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), KKR will look to continue their winning momentum after a thrilling victory against Hyderabad, largely driven by Andre Russell's powerhouse performance. Russell's remarkable innings of 64* off just 25 balls turned the game around for KKR, rescuing them from a precarious position and securing a crucial win against Pat Cummins' team.

KKR will once again rely on Russell's batting prowess as they face RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In a promotional video for the Indian Premier League (IPL), Russell expressed his preference for hitting sixes, particularly enjoying shots over long-on and straight down the ground.

Despite experiencing a dip in form in recent seasons, Russell made a sensational comeback in the first match of IPL 2024, smashing 7 sixes against SRH at a staggering strike-rate of 256.

Heading into the match, KKR will aim to break the trend of home teams dominating IPL 2024, as no visiting team has secured a victory thus far. With a strong record at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where they have won 7 out of 11 matches in the IPL, Shreyas Iyer's KKR will be optimistic about their chances against RCB.
