Hardik Pandya and his boys will now face Chennai Super Kings in the title clash on Sunday.
It was Shubman Gill show as he scored 129 runs off 60 balls as Gujarat Titans posted a daunting 233 for 3 in 20 overs. Piyush Chawla removed Wriddhiman Saha when GT’s score was 54. After that Gill and Sai Sudharsan stitched 138 runs for the second wicket to keep their team in the driving seat. Akash Madhwal dismissed Gill only to prevent further damage as Gill had already scored his third IPL century by then.
Chasing 234 to win Mumbai Indians were bundled out for 171 runs. Suryakumar tried his best as he scored 61 off 38 balls. Tilak Varma also played a cameo, scoring 43 off 14 balls. Mohit Sharma was the pick of the Gujarat Titans bowlers picking 5 wickets for 10 runs in 2.2 overs.
