Xtra Time Web Desk: Lucknow Super Giants stand in skipper Krunal Pandya on Thursday called for support from Mohun Bagan fans for Saturday’s IPL 2023 game against KKR at Eden Gardens. LSG players will sport green and maroon jersey for the game against Kolkata. The new look jersey was unveiled by Krunal, Nicholas Pooran and team owner Shashwat Goenka.

Kolkata based industrialist Sanjeev Goenka, who owns the Lucknow franchise in IPL is also a major stake holder in Indian Super League team Mohun Bagan Super Giants. So, it was no surprise that in order to get more local support, LSG players will sport green and maroon colours.

On being asked about Mohun Bagan, Krunal Pandya said, “Yes, I'm aware this year we won the (ISL) trophy as well. I'm aware of the team as well. In fact, I'm looking forward to see one of the games as well."

Krunal added, “We would want 100 percent more support. Obviously, wherever we go if we get more support, it will boost your confidence. I request all the Mohun Bagan fans to come on Saturday and support us. Hope we do well against KKR.”

Lucknow Super Giants are placed 4th on the points table with 15 points from 13 games. A win against KKR will guarantee a spot in IPL 2023 Playoffs.
