Xtra Time Web Desk: Lucknow Super Giants Afghan fast bowler Naveen ul Haq wasted no time on social media as he shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story immediately after Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the IPL 2023 game against Gujarat Titans. Many fans felt it was very distasteful for Naveen to share such a post.
Talking about the match, Virat Kohli scored back-to-back tons but it went in vain as Shubman Gill scored a brilliant hundred to take Gujarat Titans home.
Naveen posted an Instagram story after the match, possibly mocking RCB for the elimination.
Notably, Kohli and Naveen were involved in a heated exchange when RCB and LSG squared off for the second time in the ongoing IPL season at Lucknow. The rivalry didn’t end there, as the fast bowler’s infamous “sweet mangoes” during Bangalore’s fixture against Mumbai Indians (MI) added fuel to the fire.
It is worth mentioning that Naveen was also heckled by Kohli chants at the Eden Gardens when LSG took on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday. He retaliated by asking the crowd to remain quiet by placing a finger on his lips following Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s wicket.
