The 25-year-old cricketer from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh continues to win the hearts both on and off the field. Rinku has decided to build a hostel for underprivileged players who cannot pursue their dream due to financial constraints. Having gone through the struggles and hardships, Rinku wants to give it back to the sport that has changed his life.
Rinku, who made headlines for hitting five consecutive sixes in the final over against Gujarat Titans has decided to stand behind talented underprivileged kids who cannot continue playing because of financial problems. Rinku has invested a major portion of his IPL money in building a hostel for young budding cricketers in Alligarh.
The work for the hostel started around three months ago with Rinku watching the progress from close quarters before joining KKR squad for ongoing IPL 2023. The hostel will have 14 rooms and each one can accommodate four trainees. A shed and a pavilion are also being constructed. The entire expenditure is being borne by Rinku.
Only one word describes this wonderful gesture from Rinku and that is Respect.
