Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India opener and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir was once again the target of Virat Kohli fans. A section of the crowds at the Eden Gardens club house were seen chanting the name of Virat Kohli as Gautam was walking towards the dressing room after the match ended. Lucknow Super Giants managed to win the IPL 2023 game by a run despite the valiant effort from Rinku Singh.

This is the second instance that Gautam Gambhir was being targeted after his verbal altercation with Kohli during the 43rd game of the ongoing IPL 2023 at Lucknow. Gambhir’s confrontation with the former RCB captain has not been well-received by Kohli’s fans.

Since that incident, wherever LSG has travelled, Gambhir has become the target of fans’ ire. Surprisingly, instead of getting upset, Gambhir responded with a smile towards the fans.

Here is the video:

The video clip went viral on the internet, generating mixed reactions from fans. In their previous away match against Sunrisers at Hyderabad, LSG also had to face a similar incident. Unhappy with a no ball decision a section of the fans threw nuts and bolts at LSG dugout, causing a temporary stoppage in play. Gambhir was targeted as well as they started chanting the name of Virat Kohli.
