Xtra Time Web Desk : Sunrisers Hyderabad sensational speedster Umran Malik on Wednesday took his maiden Indian Premier League 5-fer against table toppers Gujarat Titans and dismantled the opponent's batting order with sheer pace and accuracy.

Starting off his day with the wicket of Shubman Gill, Umran kept on hitting the right places and plucked the wickets of skipper Hardik Pandya, Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller and Abhinav Manohar with some breathtakingly fast deliveries to complete his 5-fer and enter the list of top wicket takers this season, at the 2nd position with 15 wickets.

And after his fantabulous performance against Hardik Pandya's men, legendary former Team India skipper Sunil Gavaskar lauded the pacer and advocated for Umran to be taken into the Indian Team immediately.

"The next for him, I think is the Indian team. He might not play in the XI because India have got Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav. So, he might not play. But just travelling with the group, travelling with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, sharing the dressing room with them… just look what is going to happen to him!" said Gavaskar during the commentary on Star Sports.
