IPL 2022 : Mumbai likely to host 55 matches while Pune likely to stage 15 games

Xtra Time Web Desk : The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League 2022 is likely to be hosted in Mumbai and Pune, keeping in mind the COVID-19 protocols.

According to reports, the 3 stadiums in Mumbai namely, Wankhede, Brabourne and DY Patil stadium will host a total of 55 matches among them, while the MCA International stadium is likely to host a total of 15 matches.

Also, reports suggests that the teams are likely to play 4 matches each in the the Wankhede and DY Patil stadium and 3 matches each at Brabourne and Pune.

However, the final decision is likely to come on February 24, at the IPL governing council’s meeting.
