Xtra Time Web Desk : Delhi Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant has been deemed as one of the finest talents in the current crop of Team India cricketers. The 24 year old has been rated so high that he has also been expected to lead the country in future.

When it comes to the longest format of the game, Pant has undoubtedly been the flag bearer for India's upcoming generation of Test cricketers till now, with the historic Border-Gavaskar 2020-21 series win under his belt.

But when the question of the shortest format arises, critics and a majority section of fans still believe that the best of Rishabh is yet to come.

With his bombastic start to his IPL career with a century back in 2017, the Delhi wicketkeeper-batter has been on and off in terrns of performances in the mega tournament, which is why the fans believe that the best of his is yet to come.

Now, with Thursday's sluggish innings of 39* off 36 balls being a sign of the above mentioned consistency issue with Pant, fans would expect the Capitals skipper to step up to the occasion perform more regularly.
