Chahal had revealed the entire incident in a Royal Challengers Bangalore podcast earlier.

The shocking revelation has now led Durham County Club to hold talks with their head coach, James Franklin, who was involved in the incident.

"We are aware of recent news reports surrounding an incident in 2011 which name a member of our staff. As with any matters involving employees, the club will speak privately with all parties involved to determine the facts," said Durham in a statement.
