Xtratime Web Desk: Punjab Kings (PBKS) head coach Wasim Jaffer was ‘saddened’ by the performance of ex Punjab cricketer ‘big show’ Glenn Maxwell’s batting that he displayed on Wednesday night versus Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scored 149 runs from their alloted 20 overs after Maxwell scored his first Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) fifty in 5 years which Ultimately led to 6 runs victory for Bangalore.
Incidentally last year Maxwell was with Punjab Kings. But in last year’s IPL played in Emirates in the year 2020 Maxwell failed to lived upto expectations. He failed to hit a single six. Not only that he failed to score a single half century.
But this year Maxwell was brought by Bangalore using 14.25 crore rupees and in their first two matches Maxwell was in good form with the bat as he scored important runs to help his side in the victory. On social media platform a fan asked Jaffer of his reaction about Maxwell. In reply Jaffer share a picture of a Pakistan fan from 2019 world cup cricket probably trying to say that he was ‘saddened ‘ to see Maxwell gaining form in Bangalore jersey after being released by Punjab.
