Xtra Time Web Desk: Thanks to two back to back editions of the IPL being played in bio-bubbles, none of the teams have been able to play in front of their fans, and this is something that Andre Russell misses sorely (according to www.kkr.in). The hard-hitting all-rounder has gone a long way in his career, facing a number of adversities throughout, but he has come back stronger every time. From being unsold on the first day of the 2014 IPL auction to his doping ban in 2017, he has always found ways to keep going through problematic times and come out on the other side as a better individual.

“I miss playing in front of crowds and especially Eden, where I know thousands of people got your back. That keeps me going. And it brings out the fire inside. The loud cheer, even before I face the first ball when I start running onto the crease, those vibes are unreal,” Russell said in the KKR’s latest release called ‘Russell: The Knight of Eden.’ He opened up on a lot of things in this latest release, which is definitely worth a watch if you’re a fan of cricket in general. Russell has been slightly below his usual standards in this year’s edition of the IPL, but he seems to be back on track, with a decent score with the bat in the previous match against DC.
