Xtratime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals is going through torrid times in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL2021, Indian T-20 League). They are right in the bottom half of the table due to their poor performance and having very less chance of qualifying for the play offs.

They have lost many players either due to injury or due to covid scare or bio-bubble fatigue. Ben Stokes in the very first match for RR vs Punjab broke his finger and was ruled out of the tournament. Jofra Archer failed to recover from his elbow operation and was ruled out as well. Andrew Tye flew back home due to the covid scare. Liam Livingstone went back to his home due to the bio-bubble fatigue.

Now Rajasthan Royals have announced replacement for Livingstone. They have signed South African pacer Gerald Coetzee as his replacement for the remainder of the season.Coetzee has been part of eight T20 matches so far and has nine wickets under his belt. He has scalped wickets at an average of 23.33 and has also represented his nation in two U-19 World Cups.
