Xtratime Web Desk : On Friday at Wankhede stadium ,Mumbai in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) Chennai Super KIngs (CSK) won comfortably against Punjab KIngs. Punjab had a disaster with the bat. One time in their innings they were 26/5. Scoring 100 runs seemed tough target to reach for them.

　

Chennai pacer Deepak Chahar was bowling superbly. He was swinging the ball both ways. Batsmen found it difficult to counter his swing. He returned with a figure of 4-1-13-4. Mayank Agarwal,Chris Gayle,Deepak Hooda and Nicholas Pooran all fell prey to his tremendous swing bowling. Only Punjab batsman who stood tall amidst all this is the young right hander Shah Rukh Khan. He scored 47 runs of just 36 balls to take his side past 100 and posted a fighting total on the board. Incidentally he was brought by in this year's mini auction by Punjab for 5.25 crores of rupees.


Punjab KIngs ,co-owner Preity Zinta praised Shah Rukh Khan highly for his efforts with the bat under pressure. Zinta tweeted "Not our night tonight but a few positives. #SRK batted so well under pressure & bowlers came back stronger from the previous game. Better to move on & put this behind us. Hopefully, there will be a lot of learning from tonight."
