Xtratime Web Desk :- It was mayhem at the Wankhede stadium Mumbai last night when Kolkata knight Riders only falling by just 18 runs versus Chennai Super kings. It was raining sixes under the light as match six count total went upto 26. Fortunes and momentum of both the teams swung like a pendulam. One time you feel Kolkata have made it and the very next time the match tilt towards Chennai.



While Kolkata was chasing 221 runs to win it never looked that Kolkata would be able to make a match out of it after their 5 top order batsman literally threw away their wickets within powerplay. Resurgence of Kolkata started with Russel, Karthik partnership carried forward by Pat Cummins only to fall '3 sixes' short of the target.

Speaking on the issue Cummins ,Morgan were seen having a chat in an instagram video "Well played, Patty [Pat Cummins], well played, boss” Morgan consoles a dejected Cummins. “That was close. Andre was unbelievable”, says Cummins, giving credit to Russel’s power hitting. Cummins asserted in the fact "let in too many runs with the ball”.
