IPL 2021: Ashwin promises to help everyone within his reach effected by Covid-19

Xtratime Web Desk : Whole if India is under the second wave of corona infection. Day by day it is getting worst. More than 3 lakhs cases are reported daily. In some states situation is worse. Lack of oxygen,remdesivir injection scarcity has hit public badly. Illegal marketing are going on using these situation. In this context Delhi Capitals and India test team bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has stepped up and promised to help people suffering from this within his capacity.

Incidentally Ashwin is busy at the moment playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League ( IPL 2021). His team Delhi Capitals is also doing well. Beside match and practice Ashwin is keeping a close eye on the situation in hand.

First he tweeted ” Heart breaking to see what’s happening around my country! I am not in the healthcare fraternity, but my sincere gratitude to each of them. I would also like to make an earnest appeal to every Indian to exercise caution and stay safe.”

In a follow up tweet he wrote ” I know there will be people who will retort with a tweet about my position of privilege. I would like to reiterate that this is a virus that spares no one and I am in this fight with all of you. Let me know if I can help and I promise to help anyone that is within my capacity.’
