IPL 2020: Rahul Tewatia changes his WhatsApp DP for this reason

XtraTime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royal’s all rounder Rahul Tewatia received a huge surprise as he was presented an autographed jersey by Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli after Saturday’s IPL 2020 clash at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. The cricketer from Haryana was so impressed to have a jersey of someone he admired that he immediately changed his whatsapp DP. The new DP has the picture of him posing with RCB captain along with his autographed jersey. Kohli also wrote a message for the attacking all rounder on the jersey which read: “Dear Rahul, Best wishes”, followed by his signature.

On the match front, Virat Kohli returned to form with a well made 72 runs as he powered RCB to an impressive eight-wicket win over the Royals. The RCB captain scored just 18 runs in the previous three matches in the ongoing IPL 2020. His knock was studded with seven fours and a couple of sixes as RCB chased down 154 without facing too many troubles. During the course of the knock, Kohli also became the first batsman to reach the 5,500 runs milestone in IPL. He now has scored 5,502 runs in the cash rich league.Tewatia also impressed with the bat, scoring 24 runs from 12 balls at a strike rate of 200. His knock included three huge sixes, couple of them being struck after being hit on the chest by a beamer from Navdeep Saini. Tewatia became an overnight star after smashing five sixes in an over earlier during the tournament against Sheldon Cottrell of Kings XI Punjab.
