XtraTime Web Desk: Delhi Capital’s wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant on Sunday celebrated his 23rd birthday. The southpaw celebrated his birthday with teammates following the thrilling 18 runs win over Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sharjah Stadium. Pant, who is yet to play a noteworthy innings in the cash rich league so far, will be looking to make a mark in the game coming up against Delhi Capitals on Monday.
The dashing wicket keeper batsman has been flooded with good wishes on his birthday. Joining others in wishing the cheerful Delhi cricketer was none other than former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. The left hander wished Pant in a hilarious way along with sharing an old picture. Along with the birthday message, Yuvraj also wished Pant luck for the remainder of the IPL season. Yuvraj wrote– “Jiska naam hai Pant lekin harkatein hain nikkar waali. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday @RishabhPant17. Stay safe and have a successful IPL”
In his IPL career so far, Pant has scored 1870 runs from 58 games which include a century and 11 half centuries. Pant’s ability to destroy bowlers from the word go sets him apart from the rest.
