IPL 2020: Kamlesh Nagarkoti thanked these people for his sensational comeback

XtraTime Web Desk: Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi were the bowling leaders for India in the U-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018. Both Nagarkoti and Mavi bowled brilliantly in that tournament and India won the U-19 World Cup because of such performances.

However, their journey in the IPL wasn’t that smooth. Both of them suffered a lot of injuries and Nagarkoti missed both the 11th and 12th edition of the IPL while Mavi missed the 11th entirely but played a couple of matches last year before getting injured again. KKR management always backed them and now they are finally giving results for the two-time champions.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the post match conference talked about his plans and thanked everyone who stood with them in the entire journey. He said, “The situation was a bit in our favour when I came to bowl. Just wanted to keep my plans simple and execute them. I want to thank my family, the KKR support staff and everyone else who have stood by me. Many people like my family, Dravid Sir, Abhishek (Nayar) bhaiyya. There have been so many people to thank.”

To end the conversation, Nagarkoti added, “It’s a nice experience to learn from Pat Cummins who is a really good bowler. I try to execute what I learn from him.”
