IPL 2020: Jofra Archer displays classic pace bowling against KKR
XtraTime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals pacer Jofra Archer is getting better and better with every match. Whenever Steve Smith needed a wicket, Archer did it for his captain. Bowling 4 overs, Archer gave away only 18 runs and took 2 crucial wickets of Dinesh Karthik and Shubman Gill.
The speedster tried to outpace the batsmen by his pace. Not only 145kmh, Archer bowled above 150kmh today. Speaking about that Archer said, “I didn't see the speeds on the big screen, so not sure at what speed I was bowling.”
Archer also said the difference between the pitch in Dubai versus the pitch at Sharjah. He said, “You can hit your lengths comfortably here as compared to Sharjah where even good balls can go to the boundary.”
Archer thinks his team gave away 15 more runs than necessary. “I think they got 15 runs more than we would have liked. We have batting till number 11, but we need to adapt as the conditions in Dubai are different as compared to Sharjah.”
