XtraTime Web Desk: It has been a common sight in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) matches to watch Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler wearing a red headband while he is bowling to the opponent batsman. The cricketer from Punjab on Saturday revealed the actual reason to former Proteas captain Graeme Smith. “I wear the head band to keep the sweat out of the eyes. Talking about superstition, I don’t think so. I have been following this even while playing in domestic cricket. I just to love to wear the head gear,” said Kaul before the start of the IPL clash against Mumbai Indians. One more noteworthy thing about the young promising bowler is his control over the knuckle ball. Talking about how he mastered the delivery, Kaul said, “I was closely following Zaheer bhai (Zaheer Khan) when he started bowling that delivery. He used to bowl those knuckle balls during the World Cup in 2011. I tried to follow him. I was trying it domestic matches and was pretty successful. So, I have been bowling those balls (knuckle balls) in the IPL. It comes really good and I keep backing myself to bowl that ball.” Kaul has been an integral part in the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling line-up. He has so far picked three wickets in 5 matches so far. “It feels good when you are amongst wickets. It is coming at the right time, early start of the tournament. It feels positive for you as well, to pick wickets for your team,” signed off Kaul.
