XtraTime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Jofra Archer has been making waves with his toe crushing yorkers in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2019). But for Jofra, yorkers aren’t his go to delivery in the shorter format.
“I wouldn’t say its (yorkers) my go to delivery, may be in the death. It wouldn’t really change in the Powerplay or the middle overs. Just go for it in the death,” said Archer ahead of Rajasthan Royals match against Mumbai Indians at the Swai Man Singh stadium on Saturday.
On being asked where he prefers to bowl his quota of four overs in T20 format, Archer said, “If the pitch is doing a bit I would love to bowl three at the start and then one at the back. To be honest whatever the team needs I am pretty versatile. It doesn’t matter too much for me.”
The Barbados born English cricketer has been one of the most exciting players in the cash rich league.
Apart from his bowling skills Archer can whack the ball clean and hard, making him an exciting cricketer in the T20 format.
