IPL 2019: Watson-Rabada go at each other, sparks spirit of cricket debate

XtraTime Web Desk: Things got heated up a bit during an Indian Premier League match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. While chasing a total of 148 runs to win CSK opener Shane Watson got into a verbal war with Delhi fast bowler Ishant Sharma. While arguing he kept his cool though just like any typical Australian player does. Umpire Marais Erasmus stopped both of them in time.

But Watson was in no mood to stop it early. During the 6th over he again got in a verbal spat with South African speedster Kagiso Rabada, this time it went almost out of everyone’s hands as Rabada almost went on the face of Watson, umpire Erasmus somehow stopped them again with the help of other Delhi fielders. There has been a discussion about the spirit of cricket after Ravi Ashwin’ Mankaded’ Jos Buttler last night in another IPL match. Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar mocked those who said against Ashwin after the incident as he said,” Please someone mention spirit of the game after this incident.”
