IPL 2019: Smile on the face of RCB skipper Virat Kohli after seven matches against CSK. Find out why?

XtraTime Web Desk: Smile on the face of Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli as they beat MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings by 1 run in a last ball thriller finally after losing last seven matches against the men in yellow. In the last over CSK needed 26 runs with skipper MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo at the crease. Dhoni went on to score 24 runs in first five deliveries and it was just two runs needed in the final ball. In the last delivery Umesh bowled a slower outside off stump and Dhoni failed to play any shot and while trying to take a run to take the game to a super over, RCB wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel did it great to hit the stumps to run out Bravo.

After a thrilling win, Kohli lauded the performances of his bowlers until the 19th over.” A whole lot of emotion. We were outstanding with the ball until the 19th over mark. On the last ball, that was the last thing I would’ve expected to happen. Feels good to win a game by a small margin,” said Kohli after the game.

Kohli heaped praise on Dhoni who almost single handedly took the game away from the home side.” MS did what he does best and he gave us all a massive scare. In the first six overs, we thought the ball wasn’t coming onto the bat that much,” added Kohli.

The RCB skipper looked immensely happy with the performances of Yuzvendra Chahal & young Navdeep Saini. “They showed a lot of composure playing against a side like CSK. Especially Saini. He’s come along well for the team,” concluded Kohli.
