XtraTime Web Desk: Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jason Behrendorff still cannot believe his luck of getting picked in the Australian squad ahead of Josh Hazzlewood. It has been a dream run for the cricketer from Perth in the last twelve months. He made his ODI & T20I debut against India and also featured in the recently concluded limited-overs series at home. “Ideally it was part of the plan . Yeah, I am still pinching myself. To be able to do what I achieved in the last 12 months has been unreal. Sometimes I wake up and think whether it is actually happening. I am enjoying every bit,” said an elated Behrendorff ahead of Mondays Indian Premier League clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede. For Behrendorff , it has been a learning experience in the true sense getting to share dressing room woth Shane Bond, Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah. “I am just trying to learn as much as I possibly can. They have all got slightly different views on things and way to go about it. Trying to implement different plans also thinking how I can stay ahead of the game, trying to play catch up as well,” said Behrendorff. Talking about the biggest learning playing in the cash rich league, the tall Aussie fast bowler said, “Guys (batsmen) generally come harder against you at the Powerplay . There’s no room for error. You got to be on your toes all the time.” Behrendorff has taken 4 wickets in 5 matches so far in IPL 2019.
