IPL 2019: Hardik Pandya does a MSD, hits a helicopter shot for six against CSK at Wankhede
Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai Indians all rounder Hardik Pandya did a MS Dhoni in the IPL clash against Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede on Wednesday. Hardik emulated Dhoni in front of him by playing the helicopter shot that landed in the stands of the last ball of the Mumbai India innings. It was due to the whirlwind effort of Hardik (25 off 8 balls), Mumbai Indians posted a decent 170/5 on board against a rampaging Chennai Super Kings. Hardik’s brisk knock was studded with one four and three sixes. Coming in to bat at No. 6, Hardik displayed the first signs of aggression in the 19th over. He hit a huge six off the first ball bowled by Shardul Thakur. Kieron Pollard and Hardik plundered Dwyane Bravo for 29 runs off the last over. The packed Wankhede stadium erupted to see Hardik try a helicopter shot for a six off the fourth ball from Bravo. It even left Dhoni staring in utter disbelief, to see the ball land in the stands. Pandya smashed a boundary the next ball he faced and followed it up with another huge for six.
The India all rounder was seen practicing the helicopter shot at Mumbai Indians nets before the tournament. He posted a video trying the helicopter shot during nets on twitter on March 14.MUST WATCH: The Pollard-Pandya last over carnage ?? On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
