Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai Indians all rounder Hardik Pandya always keeps making style statements. And his tattoos are an integral part of it. The MI cricketer on Thursday revealed all the tattoos to his fans.
His tattoos include motivational messages to single words which keep motivating him whenever he is going through tough times.
A tattoo with word ‘belief’ is written on the under arm of his left hand. The same hand also has another message ‘time is everything’. As you look up his arm, the left shoulder has the message ‘live to succeed’ tattoed. His right hand wrist has the tattoo with the message ‘die trying’. On the left side of his neck he has his names of his dogs tattoed while the other side of his neck has the symbol of peace.
According to Hardik, “It’s all meaningful to me. I see them whenever I go through tough times. They just remind me of my ability.”
The all rounder immediately made an impact in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) after being away from competitive cricket. He has so far scored 355 runs and taken 10 wickets from 12 matches so far.
“I was away for quite long and I was just hoping. I was spending time in the nets and that just helped me . Not many people know I was actually very disappointed after the first game when I got out on zero. But thanks to my family who always backed me,” said Hardik.
Talking about his mindset, Hardik said, “It’s all about mindset. I was playing quite well but I was not in the right frame of mind. I was not able to connect the ball at the nets ahead of the match against RCB. I was shouting desperately. Everything changes when you have a clear mind.”
“I am still learning and I want to become an improved cricketer. I just don’t want to be the same cricketer in the last game,” signed off Hardik.
