XtraTime Web Desk:Mumbai Indians outplayed table topper Chennai Super Kings by eight wickets at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. After winning the toss Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma decided to field.  Rohit played a captain’s knock to get passed the target given by the table toppers.

Batting first Chennai scored 169 runs in the 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Ambati Rayudu and Suresh Raina guided the team to achieve that respectable total. Raina scored 75 runs in 45 balls while Rayudu scored 46 runs and Skipper Dhoni scored 26 runs.Mitchell Mcclenaghan and Krunal Pandya picked couple of wickets.

It wasn’t a very easy target to chase for the Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar Yadav (44) and Evin Lewis (47) started very well but, skipper Rohit Sharma stole the lime light as he scored 56 runs Hardik remain unbeaten at 13 to get passed the target given by CSK with two balls to spare.

Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh and all rounder Dwayne Bravo got a wicket each but, it wasn’t a good match for the CSK bowlers. Dhoni tried everything to break partnerships but failed.
