IPL 2018: AB De Villiers takes one of the ‘impossible’ catches to dismiss Alex Hales

XtraTime Web Desk: South African genius AB De Villiers produced a moment of magic, as Mr.360 degree to an unbelievable catch to dismiss Alex Hales in the IPL match against SRH today.

Hales danced down the wicket and clubbed Moeen Ali for a maximum in the deep but De Villiers was there to spoil the party. ABD timed his jump to perfection and snatched the ball out of thin air to send the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in a frenzy. The moment he took the catch, ABD seemed pumped up, Kohli was pumped up. RCB were over the moon at that moment. No doubt it was an absolute screamer and will go down as one of the best catches in the IPL history.

After watching the catch RCB coach Gary Kirsten said, “It was magical, something which only he can do. AB is special.”

RCB Captain Virat Kohli too seemed to be stunned by the brilliance of the South African genius. He said, “AB’s catch was spiderman stuff, you don’t do that as normal human beings. His shots still leave me in awe, the fielding unbelievable.”

Despite the fact that the entire cricketing world is heaping praise of the impossible catch by ABD, he himself said, “With the catch, I made it look tougher than it was. It curved away late, luckily it stuck. I got into a bad position.”
