Today the East Bengal coach decided to give rest to their key players like Willis Plaza, Wedson Anselme, Robin Singh and TP Rehenesh in their training session. The East Bengal gaffer said, "Plaza, Wedson, Robin, Rehenesh all have some small niggles and they didn't train. In a long and busy league these might happen as so much travelling also got involved in it. But none of the injuries are too serious."

The Red and Gold boss had a new member in the training today as fand  and endurance trainer Barun Ghosh was seen working with the players. But the training which is a common feature during the pre-season, was surprisingly being utilised today. Trevor explained, "He is a resource available for us and we decided to use his quality today. If he works well, we might use him more in future."
The Red and Gold brigade is not giving too much importance to the occasion on February 12. But the three points are the priority for the British Coach. He said, "We are still ahead of them on points. But it's not important where we are now but where we finish in the end. The three points are more important for me rather than the occasion of a derby. We want to will all our games."

East Bengal's goal machine Willis Plaza had a problem today in his vehicle after the end of the training session and thus went back to his place by an auto-rikshaw.
