Indian team management reacts on the burning criticism surrounding MS Dhoni

XtraTime Web Desk: The moment a section of cricket fans and critics are criticizing the knock MS Dhoni played against England on Sunday, India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar extends the hand of support to the former Indian Captain.

Bangar said in a press conference, “Well, five out of seven times Dhoni did the job to guide the team home in this world cup. He played a handy partnership with Rohit against South Africa, when required, he accelerated against the Aussies, except once, he has been doing great. He is hitting the ball really well. I get surprised when you question about Dhoni.”

India’s batting coach also mentioned that Rishabh Pant will get more chances after his knock against England. He said, “After the absence of Dhawan, we needed a left-handed batsman to have the left hand-right hand combination. He played a decent innings. He struck a few good boundaries. He will get more games for sure.”

Banger confessed that the spinners had a bad day in office as he said, “Yes, they had a tough day. But so far, the duo have done a fantastic job. We will keep baking them.”

Bangar also told the media that the team management has been thinking about the best possible combination based on the wicket and there might be a few changes in the line up in the games to come.
