XtraTime Web Desk: The Indian team management has come out with strong words against the "outfield" and the "pitch" conditions in England with support coming from former Indian legends as well. On Tuesday at Chelmsford, Virat Kohli and co. immediately stopped their training sessions after the pitch didn't seem impressive to them. Even the 4 day practice match, starting from Wednesday, was reduced to 3 days after protests from the Indian team. Head coach, Ravi Shastri didn't seem convinced with the conditions of the wicket as well as the outfield. He was actually furious with the local officials of the ground as the 11 yard pitch was entirely covered with grass but in different patches of the outfield, there was no sign of greenery. By such hospitality towards the Indians by the Britishers, number of former cricketers of the two-time World Champion has labelled it as a "conspiracy" and some say it's nothing but just a sheer cunning "trick" of England. Ajit Wadekar and Dilip Vengsarkar has brushed aside Essex County Management's claim that due to the ongoing hot weather conditions, the pitch has become unsuitable to train on. Both have slammed this to be a cunning trick of the Britishers to unsettle the Indian team. "They want us to get inured", Wadekar have said. Both have come up with a strong point that if it was due to the weather conditions, then all the grounds of the country would have faced the same condition. Raju Mukherjee have blamed the curator of the Essex ground for his unprofessional conduct. Gopal Basu has said that there are many incidents which never been brought into the light. He recollected once such incident, when the Indian team toured England way back in 1974, where they had to face the same problem. "It's a strategy of the England team", Basu said. "If they think, there are gonna get away with this, then they are making a big mistake." "Virat and the team, won't sit back. They know how to answer".
