Indian team leaves Nagpur for second test match in Delhi | INDvsAUS

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team on Tuesday left Nagpur for Delhi to play the second test match in the Border Gavaskar Trophy at the Arun Jaitley Stadium starting from Friday, February 17, 2023. Most of the cricketers were not seen at the airport as they arrived at the airport. Prominent players missing were captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shubman Gill and others.

Only the three spinners in the side Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav were seen coming down from the team bus. The Indian cricketers were given a break after the first test ended with two day’s remaining.

The Indian team will reach the capital on Tuesday evening following the first Test victory in Nagpur. Rohit and his boys thrashed Australia by an innings and 132 runs on Saturday. Rohit Sharma & co will hold their first practice session on Wednesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The Australian team too left the Orange city. The Aussies travelled in the same chartered flight to Delhi. The visitors had an intense practice on the centre wicket at Vidharbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium. Australian batters like David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne, Usman Khawaja and Travis Head practiced against left arm spinner Ashton Agar.
