Internet Desk: History waits for the Indian eves when they lock horns with the hosts England in the ICC Women’s World Cup final at Lord’s tomorrow.

Mithali Raj & Co. will have a chance to rewrite the history again at Lord’s where Indian Men’s team won their first World Cup under legendary Kapil Dev’s leadership by beating the mighty West Indies team in 1983.

Just a day before the final they have received a moral boosting message from their male compatriots who are presently touring in Sri Lanka.

In the video Indian men’s cricket team’s newly appointed coach Ravi Shastri cheered the girls by saying, ”Go for it ladies give it to the palms.”

After Shastri, skipper Virat Kohli too wished the girls on behalf of his team.”On behalf of the whole Indian team and the support staffs all the way from Sri Lanka we want to wish you all the best.”

A win tomorrow has the potential to do the same for women’s cricket in India, where at they have had to arrange funds for overseas tours in the past.

It is only the second time that India will have a shot at the world title. Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj were part of the runners-up team in 2005 and tomorrow will be their last chance to be a World Cup winner.
