Xtra Time Web Desk: The All-India Senior Women’s Selection Committee on Friday announced the Indian squad for the one-off Test match, ODI & T20 series against England. The most notable selection was experienced pacer Shikha Pandey making a comeback in both ODI & T20 formats. Shikha was surprisingly dropped from the South Africa series at home by the women selection committee led by Neetu David. Shafali Verma too has been included in the ODI squad. Shafali was not included in the 50 over format in the series against South Africa women at home.
Mithali Raj will lead the test and ODI squads while Harmapreet Kaur will lead charge of the T20 squad. The women squad will be travelling with the men’s squad to England on June 02. The series will involve a test match at Bristol from June 16-19 followed by three ODIs at Bristol (June 27), Taunton (June 30) and Worcester (July 03). The squad will also play a three match T20I series on July 09, 11 & 15 respectively. The matches will be played at Northants, Hove and Chelmsford.
