Xtra Time Web Desk : Sri Lanka Cricket’s Selection Committee on Monday selected the following T20I squad to take part in the upcoming 3 match T20I series against Team India.

Captaned by their skipper Dasun Shanaka, who on Sunday played a crucial role with the bat in hand in Sri Lanka's win against Australia in the 5th T20I, the squad consists of batter Kusal Mendis, who too had a huge influence in that same win.

Apart from the above two, the squad consists of big names such as Wanindu Hasaranga, the spin bowling all rounder who was signed up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 10.75 crore in this year's Indian Premier League Mega Auction.

Also the Sri Lankan squad has some other experienced customers such as Lucknow Super Giants' Dushmantha Chameera, Kolkata Knight Riders' Chamika Karunaratne and verteran Dinesh Chandimal, who are expected to post a serious challenge to Rohit Sharma's men.

The Men in Blue's 3 match T20I rubber against Sri Lanka will start from February 24, with the visitors being confident after their recent solitary win against Australia, despite a 4-1 series loss.
