Xtra Time Web Desk; The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Thursday picked the Indian squad for the 3-match ODI series and the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka scheduled in the month of July. All matches will be played at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo. The 20 member squad along with five net bowlers will leave for Colombo on June 28. The squad has quite a few new faces in the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devdutt Padikkal, Nitish Rana, Krishnappa Gowtham and Chetan Sakariya. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named the vice-captain of the side. Surprisingly though the name of the Head Coach is not announced. Former India captain Rahul Dravid is supposed to travel to the island nation as the Head Coach.

The Indian team will reach Colombo on June 28. They will be hard quarantining for first three days i.e., from June 29 – July 01. Dhawan & co will be allowed to train within the quarantine period from July 02-04.
