India tour to Ireland 2022: 2nd batch of Indian team leaves for Dublin

Xtra Time Web Desk: The second batch of Indian players including captain Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Umran Malik, Rahul Tripathi and Avesh Khan left for Dublin to take part in the two match T20I series against Ireland staring from June 26. The first batch of Indian team are already in Dublin. The second batch of Indian players is accompanied by VVS Laxman, who will be the coach of the side.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given three-day break to the players after the T20I series against South Africa. Hardik Pandya and his players will be refreshed and recharged as they take on Andrew Balbirnie led side.

The series will also mark the return of Suryakumar Yadav. The cricketer from Mumbai had an hamstring injury during the series against West Indies in Kolkata. He missed the recently concluded T20I series against South Africa

The series will also see the return of Sanju Samson. The stylish batter will get another chance to prove himself along with newcomer Rahul Tripathi.

Both the T20I matches will be played at Malahide Cricket Club in Dublin on June 26 and June 28.
