Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted with fans on the streets of London on Saturday. The duo was seen enjoying their day out in London. Kohli seemed to have gone for some shopping. As soon as fans spotted them, immediately they were chased for autographs and selfies.
Rohit and Virat are currently in UK for the tour to England. While Kohli travelled with the first batch of Indian test squad last Thursday i.e, on June 16, Rohit travelled a day later to London with his family
The Indian players have already hit the ground running as they practiced at the Lord’s cricket ground. Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jasprit Bumrah were seen having a light training session at the nursery ground.
Indian team is set to travel to Leicestershire where they will have a small camp before playing a four day warm up game against Select County XI starting from June 24.
Rohit Sharma and his boys will be playing one Test match, three ODIs and as many T20Is against England on this tour. The series will start with the Test match at Edgbaston on July 1, while it will conclude with a T20I match at Manchester on July 17.
