India tour of Australia: Virat Kohli and his team to travel to Australia in a chartered flight from Dubai: Reports

XtraTime Web Desk: Indian test cricketers currently taking part in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) are likely to travel to Australia directly from Dubai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are working on the logistics and it is being planned that Virat Kohli and his team will fly out to Adelaide from Dubai in a chartered flight. The Indian team is supposed to fly either on November 12 or 13, two days after the IPL 2020 final.

According to a report by Mirror, all the support staff and players who are already not in the UAE for the IPL will be asked to reach Dubai by end of October. BCCI will create seperate BIO-BUBBLE for Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuman Vihari, coach Ravi Shastri and other members of the support staff who are not part of IPL 2020. The idea is to ensure that the quarantine period for the Indian team is not that long in Australia.

Cricket Australia is yet to officially announce the schedule and venues for the all important tour. It is being reported in Australian media that the Indian team is likely to quarantine themselves in Adelaide.
