Xtra Time Web Desk: In yet another upset in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022, the Netherlands defeated South Africa by 13 runs to knock them out of the tournament. The result guaranteed India a place in the semi finals now. Pakistan and Bangladesh too have a chance to qualify for the last four stages provided whoever wins the match between them later today. If Pakistan wins, they qualify for the semis.
Whether it will be a repeat of the inaugural T20 World Cup final in 2007 only time will tell. But of both India and Pakistan win their semi final clashes then the two arch rivals will meet each other in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, November 13.
The Proteas meanwhile have kept their tradition going of choking in big tournaments. Temba Bavuma and his team had a golden chance of qualifying to the semis. All they had to do was to win against the Netherlands.
