Internet Desk:  The World Group Play-off tie declared today that India will face Spain in Delhi this September. Rafael Nadal who is the key member of the Spain Davis Cup team, may come Delhi to face the team led by non-playing captain Anand Amritraj.

India won their Davis Cup Group-1 against South Korea. They won it by 4-1, which is an enough good margin. However, it will be much challenging for the Indian tennis players to face Rafael Nadal.

Nadal was out of the court due to his injuries. He will start again his tennis tour during the Rio Olympic. After that he has to face the Davis Cup draw. If he proves himself totally fit during the Olympic he may come to led his country during the Davis Cup. Delhi will be lucky enough to witness the former World No.1.

“In addition requirement of world group ties being quite demanding like creation of 4000 seat stands etc. and the time available for preparation being short it was ultimately decided to have the matches at a venue well equipped for such tie. The tie will therefore be held on the hard courts of Delhi Lawn Tennis Association, Delhi,” the press release released by AITA stated.
