Internet Desk: Olympic Bronze Medalist MC Mary Kom expressed her concern over Indian athletes during her first session as the MP of Rajya Sabha. She advised for timeliness during championships which can help athletes to perform better.

The nominated member of Rajya Sabha Mary Kom had her first session today at the house of parliament. She complained that Indian athletes do not get food timely during their championships. Sometimes food arrives at the moment when are to leave for the event. In this way the proper diet remain unavailable for them.

She also placed her concern over proper training of the athletes of India. She said there is lack of proper training for big championships for athletes.

However, Indian Sports Minister Vijay Goyel described today how players attending Rio Olympics got assistance from the Government of India this time. He described that Indian athletes got customized coaching this time for the preparation of the Games. The MP of Manipur wished good luck to the Rio bound athletes too.
