It was the lowest total scored by the Indian women's team in the T20 format against Bangladesh women's team. Despite struggling with the bat, the Indian bowlers delivered an outstanding bowling performance, securing the win for India.

Winning the toss, India decided to bat first. Apart from the openers, Shafali Verma (19 runs) and Smriti Mandhana (13 runs), no other batter could contribute significantly. India managed to score a total of 95 runs, losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

On the other hand, when Bangladesh's women cricketers came out to bat, they faced tough competition from Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma's bowling. Both of them claimed 3 wickets each. Additionally, Minnu Mani took 2 wickets. The Bangladesh women's team was eventually bowled out for 87 runs in 20 overs.
