Team India off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and captain Ajinkya Rahane involved in an argument with umpire Nitin Menon on Day 2 of the first test between India and New Zealand.

Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has once again dragged himself into an on-field controversy. The latest incident being the off spinner was seen indulging him self in an agreement with on field umpire Nitin Menon for blocking his views.

The incident took place in the 77th over of New Zealand’s innings. Ashwin who was bowling round the wicket earlier went across the stumps and umpire Nitin Menon was seen having a chat with him.

As per the on-air commentary the discussion was about R Ashwin coming in the line of the non-striker and obstructing him to take off for a quick single along with obstructing the vision of the umpire in his follow-through.

It has been learned that Ashwin has had repeated arguments with umpires on obstructing his vision. Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid later spoke to the match referee Javagal Srinath on the incident too.
