Ind vs Eng: Indian cricketers start net session, Head Coach Ravi Shastri gives a pep talk to the boys

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team on Tuesday began their net sessions at Chepauk ahead of the first test match against England starting February 5. It is the first net session for Team India since their return from Australia after the historic series win. Virat Kohli led Indian team will be taking on England in four match test series beginning at the Chepauk from February 05.

Team India Head Coach Ravi Shastri gave a rousing pep talk at the beginning of the net session at the MA Chidambaram stadium. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a couple of photos of the Head Coach on twitter that read, “Day 1 of our nets session in Chennai and it is Head Coach @RaviShastriOfc who welcomes the group with a rousing address. #TeamIndia #INDvsENG,”

The Indian team had an outdoor training session on Monday after clearing the three manadatory COVID-19 tests. The England team will also start their first outdoor training session at the Chepauk from Tuesday.

“England PCR Test Results – 1 February 2021. All PCR tests from yesterday’s test have returned negative results. The England party is now out of quarantine and will train for the first time as a full group at the stadium tomorrow afternoon 2 pm-5 pm (IST),” said England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) media team on Monday.
