Mobashir scored the only goal as Jamshedpur beat Odisha

XtraTime Web Desk – Odisha FC’s poor form continues as Jamshedpur secured all three important points at Bambolim.

Odisha were kept under pressure from the first whistle. Jamshedpur handled them well and Arshdeep made a couple of good saves to keep Odisha into the game. In the 24th minute, Odisha came close to score but Jamshedpur filled their D-box with players and the ball was deflected out and the chance was over for Odisha.

Farukh got an great opportunity to put Jamshedpur ahead but he failed to keep the shot on target even when he wasn’t marked. Just a perfect touch could have given Jamshedpur the lead they were looking for.

Jamshedpur however took the important lady in the 41st minute. Mobashir scored the goal that put Jamshedpur ahead and with that Jamshedpur head upper hand going into the half time.

Jamshedpur kept the pressure in the second half. Arshdeep Singh was once again the main man for Odisha. In the 46th minute, he denied Len who took a long range shot.

The newcomer Brad Inman debuted for Odisha but couldn’t do anything significant. Odisha however came very close to pull one back in the 71st minute but Paul failed to keep it on target. This was probably the chance of the match for Odisha.

In the end, Jamshedpur came very close to score the second goal but Farooq’s shot hit the post and Jamshedpur was denied. With that, Jamshedpur beat Odisha 1-0.

Jamshedpur now has 18 points from 15 matches and are at 6th in the table while Odisha are at 11th with 8 points from 14 games.
