Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Australian leg spinner Shane Warner is upset with New Zealand not playing a specialist spinner in the playing XI against India in the ICC World Test Championship Final at the Ageas Bowl.

The BlackCaps preferred to go in with an all rounder in Collin De Grandhomme ahead of left arm spinner Aijaz Patel. India on the other hand is playing two specialist spinners in Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

Sharing his disappointing the legendary Australian spinner tweeted, “Very disappointed in Nz not playing a spinner in the #ICCWorldTestChampionship as this wicket is going to spin big with huge foot marks developing already. Remember if it seems it will spin. India make anything more than 275/300 ! The match is over unless weather comes in !”

No one knows the Hampshire bowl well than Shane Warne, having played for the county. The Ageas Bowl ground also has a stand named after the Australian spin wizard. The point what Warne tried to point is that there will be roughs created by the New Zealand left arm pacers Neil Wagner and Trent Boult , which might come into play on Day 4 and 5.
